Musikalisch und textlich. GUERILLA strahlt eine unglaubliche positive Kraft aus, die Veränderung will und dafür auch kämpft. Die Geheimhaltung der Mitglieder und die Maskierung sind im übrigen kein Modegag sondern Schutz vor staatlicher Repression die 2004 in Form von Hausdurchsuchungen und Anklagen durchgeführt wurde. Antifaschismus und der Wunsch nach der sozialen Revolution sind dem Staat schon immer ein Dorn im Auge gewesen. GUERILLA ist eine Kampfansage an die herrschenden Strukturen - Absolut kompromisslos - Treibender Sound - Engagierte Texte... Für ein aktives selbstbestimmtes Leben! In diesem Sinne: Fight The Power!
Resistance has many faces - GUERILLA is one of them! It is no exaggeration to list this politically commited South German punk band among the best German bands ever. This is true for their live perfomances as well as their recordings. And for the music and the lyrics. GUERILLA exert an incredibly positive strength - the longing for change and the fight for it. The secrecy around the members' identities and the masquerade during their live performances are not some superficial thing aimed to impress, but an actual means of protection against state repression that culminated in searches of their homes and indictments in 2004. Anti-fascism and the aim of social revolution has always been a thorn in the state's side. GUERILLA is a call to arms against the ruling powers - essentially unrelenting and in-your-face, with that energetic feeling and commitment... Towards self-determined life!
